The first side of this record is brilliant ,, but sides 2-4 contain too many sub par duets imo . Also Nancy’s amazing version of ‘It’s such a pretty world today’ should have been included surely

Lovely pressing, lovely sound quality. The vinyl colour/s fits the jacket artwork better than any other LITA release of this album. The jacket itself and the booklet are great

Looks and sounds absolutely fantastic.Great booklet with many groovy photos and a good interview and track analysis by the Lady herself. From a personal viewpoint I would have included Sundown on it but it really is a lovely all round package and well worth the do your thang

Has anyone had issues with this release being on backorder from LitA? I preordered in the beginning of February and haven't heard a thing.

I really like this! Very nice pressing quality. Pretty and silent vinyl (after wet cleaning), nice innersleeves. Great dynamics on this master, exceptionalyl well done in the low-end. Wide soundstage and only the slightest touch of compression, which makes the music even more engaging than on the original pressings. John Baldwin did a great job on this master! The label, Light in the Attic, claims to had access to the original analogue tapes, but this being a new compilation, I don't think they let John cut their tapes into pieces. Possibly a tape-to-tape transfer or by digitalisation. Whatever the method Baldwin chose, it sounds all analogue to my ears. Damn, the low-end is really, really impressive. This man should have been credited on the cool obi that comes with the sturdy foldgated cover and the nice, thick booklet. RTI's pressings are some hit and miss recently, but this one blows even some recent AP's and Mofi's out of the water. Must own record set!

Can anyone tell if this Velvet Morning Sunrise US pressing has a heavyweight cardboard sleeve (as Light In The Attic usually does) or a glossy paper sleeve ? The European pressing (the one I own) has a disappointing glossy paper sleeve.

Compared to what I read about US "Summer Wine Sunburst Orange", this Europe "Velvet Morning Sunrise" yellow version looks lovely. Sound quality is uneven. Quiet for the whole part but some songs will sound better than others.
