Reviews
- Excellent pressing - I’ve been avoiding newly issued vinyl as too many disappointments (Kevin Gray excepted) but this is absolutely brilliant; involving, detailed, spaced soundstage. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you Chris Bellman, ordered your Swordfishtrombones after listening to this.
- The best pressing I've heard of this album, I can't believe it. The details draw you into the music without distractions. This is a love
- Edited 2 years agoMy copy purchased on the day of release, is perfect in every way!
No surface noise, no skips, no marks, no dust or dirt.
A perfect pressing using a good mastering. A must own for any TH fan. - My copy sounds great, no skips or other discrepancies. The band is in great form and every song is enjoyable. Awesome sound quality, better than I remembered. A wonderland of rhythms and textures. Godlike in its greatness.
- Skips galore on all four sides. Exchanged in store for new copy, same thing. Too bad as it sounds fantastic otherwise, making it all the more disappointing. Hopefully the defective copies are limited in number.
- I had absolutely no issues with my copy: it’s silent, perfectly pressed, and the dynamics are unreal. The red vinyl is nice, too, but the sound quality can’t be beat. I haven’t heard the 2013 release, but I have to imagine it’s the same as this seeing as how much love that release gets—this one is phenomenal too!
- My copy sounds really good, clean and flat, no skips or pops on both records. I'm lucky boy :)
Another positive experience with Rhino Reissue!
