LP2 of my copy has lable D on both sides, do more copies have this problem? Or does someone has its twinsister with 2 labels C :-)?

Listened to my copy of this pressing for, I think, the first time since I got it. With a little EQ adjustment to temper the overly bright sound (something that's admittedly specific to my Rega RP-1: a blessing for some albums and a curse for others) and give the bass a little bit of a boost, Sides A & B sound nice and fresh despite being pressed slightly off-centre. Side C & D (labelled the wrong way round), sound less so with some slightly muddy and distorted highs, although still fairly listenable. This album is really more emblematic of the tail-end of the CD era, so that's the format to go for if you must own only one copy.

Is there a Canadian repress of this? I just got one from Amazon UK which has a "Made in Canada" sticker on the outer nylon. The runout number (B00etc) seems to be the same, but mine also has a "Mastered at Capitol" and a second longer number on the runout. So it might be a third version?

CD does indeed sound better... but the record is fine if you can get it for a decent price. It's just that the high end sounds a bit fuzzy, but it's not too distracting. I'll stick with listening to my CD.

Not a good pressing at all compared with ARTPOP and Joanne. 'Muffled' is the only word I can think of to describe the audio quality. It also seems like it warps easily. The CD sounds better....

This is a surprisingly good pressing. It punches with the bass very nicely, and the highs are quite prominent. That prominence does tend to be a problem on a couple of songs, especially "Starstruck", where the sibilance during the chorus is too grating to ignore. Still, after having heard Born This Way on vinyl and the horrid picture disc of The Fame Monster, I was expecting the worst. I was pleasantly surprised!

Anybody else hearing some really strange sustained static/noise sounds on the last track on Side B (The Fame)? Very strange...

Not a good pressing! 2 LP, one is a bit warped, and there are several loud clicks.
