Notes

Both UK and Australian copies use the same UK-manufactured picture sleeve (with the Fulham/London address). The UK vinyl has labels printed in two colours; the Australian vinyl editions come with labels printed in just one colour and labels in two colours found here: Mr. Clarinet.

This sub = the Australian (one-colour label) edition.

Recorded at Richmond Rec. Australia (P)+(C) 1980

wow - i noticed in the edit history for this release there is a lot of debate regarding the 3 versions that exist: (1) missing link (aust) (2) missing link (UK) (3) 4AD (UK) It seems the confusion was mainly due to the 2 missing link versions having an identical cover that included a UK address at the bottom. It seems that debate has been finally resolved so I have enabled an image that correctly showed the back cover of the Australian release.
However, i would like to disagree with the notes provided for the Missing Link releases which state that the Australian release only came with a one colour label. My version definitely has 2 colours just as the UK release. I have uploaded the labels onto the Australian release for all to see. You will notice they do not have the raised ridges at the edge of the label as shown in the 2 colour UK version. Because there has been so much debate and adjustments made to this release i am reluctant to change the notes at this stage. My understanding (although I'm not entirely certain) is that the first issue of the Aust release had black and white labels, but a second issue of the single used the colour label of the UK version. I know Kieth Glass says the Australian release only had one colour but my copy is proof that he might be wrong. Your thoughts....?
