Notes

2,000 copies pressed.

The original intended release date of Black Friday 2020 was delayed. However, some copies had already been sent to retailers prior to the delay, and some of those were subsequently sold.
A new Hype sticker was applied to some copies for rescheduled release on RSD 2021 (drop 1 - 12th June), with the 'Record Store Day' logo replacing the 'RSD Black Friday' logo.

Made in France.

Beautiful soundtrack . It has a different flavour with some beautiful guitar flourishes but still has that John Carpenter feel. One of his most unique and best soundtracks . My copy sounds amazing too

I’m having a hard time getting into this one. Compositions sorta lack that John Carpenter ‘edge’. The music is a little too ethereal or fairytale like? It’s hard to pinpoint the vibe, but definitely NOT your traditional JC soundtrack. No strong themes or anything too memorable. I suppose it can be attributed to the collaborative effort with Dave Davies? That’s the only reason I can think of. Had there been more tracks on YouTube to listen to before purchasing, I would’ve passed.

If you are going to merge both the 2020 RSD BLACK FRIDAY version with the 2021 RSD version, shouldn't both hype stickers be represented in the above images?

Got mine with the "RSD Black Friday" sticker, in Lyon (France).

Does the RSD drop for 6/12/21 deserve a separate release? The hype sticker is different but appears otherwise identical.

I e-mailed the label and confirmed that this is still going to be released this year. The few copies that have made it out are likely promo copies and more will be available in the future. Maybe consider not paying incredibly inflated prices if you don't need to?
