- Edited 9 months agoSide 1 is great. A slower, grittier version of Backlash Blues and a version of I Shall Be Released that likely influenced Jeff Buckley's take on it. The pressing is typical of the time, her voice voices through clear and strong, not dead quiet but competent. Side 2 will likely show up NM in most cases as it doesn't really merit a second play. Sugar In My Bowl the standout though you've probably heard this version on other comps. The others are simple misses with choices for phrasing and melody lines that just don't work. Side 1 is 5/5, side 2 rates a 2. Don't overpay.
