I've been jamming to The Line all week. Pure freshness, still.

Juan Atkins, for Electronic Standards: “Cosmic Cars was meant to be a Space vechicle. I used the Korg to produce them; took an audio engenieering course, read books, that’s the way I learn to make the optimum sounds.”

NO, Chris 416... sorry. Influenced, maybe, but that's about about it.

This masterpiece was a blueprint for Detroit techno and took Juan Atkins out of the whole electro dead end and brouhaha about did Bambaata or Kraftwerk or Juan Atkins invent electro. It's disco, it's electro, it's proto-techno.

Still rocks the floors and is unbelievably fresh almost THIRTY-FIVE years later.
