Such a fine pressing, that is almost certainly guaranteed to definitely be a potential collectors item, in the future. Plus, it is worth buying, just for the sublime covered version, of George Michaels's "Careless Whisper". This, being one of my mam's ALL-TIME favourite tracks, meant that when her hunky toyboy (Gavin) bought for her this record, as a present for Valentine's Day, she was so overjoyed. After he presented it to her, they began to kiss so passionately and I was told to go up, immediately to my bedroom. When the song started to play, I could hear downstairs my mam begin to moan with sheer pleasure and delight as a large and soulful organ, sprang to life!!
Edited 4 years agoI second dburgette. Colemine sold these for $21 and the packaging is really rather spectacular compared to what you usually get these days these days. really sturdy, high-gloss gatefold with a proper gatefold photo to span across (seems these days way too many gatefolds don't take advantage of that). Also shipped in a proper anti-static sleeve and the red looks stunning.
Oh, and the music has a solid groove to it. All around really happy with this release. Keep up the good work, Colemine.- Great album. Lol at all these jokers trying to sell for $90+… just buy the pink version from an indie retailer or the black pressing.
- Sounds exactly as you would expect from Colemine. Very nice quality recording. Not audiophile, but very solid. The music itself is outstanding. Always groovy, never disappointing. The jacket is also as expected if you own any other Colemine releases (very stout and high quality cardboard with a glossy finish). Came with a download of the album. Retail price was $20.99 if you were interested.
