- Wonderful record. I was first introduced to Humble Pie post-Frampton. Love the Smokin' album. Still my fave. But I bought this one in a used record store in the early-80s and discovered a (sometimes) softer, more eclectic and even cerebral element to the band. Desperation, Home and Away and Buttermilk Boy are stellar. Yes, Buttermilk Boy. This compilation says it includes A Nifty Little Number Like You. It's an error -- unless it was corrected on other pressings of the compilation.
