After years of wondering if i should just get a CD (after all, this piece of music isn't AAA) i've decided to pull the trigger on a vinyl pressing.

For now, i'm at my first copy but it doesn't start well:
    - Packaging is bare-bone with the usual über-slim cardboard you find in the modern world.
    - Both records have marks all over the surface
    - One of them has a bubble!

    As for the listening experience:
    - mastering sounds good to me (i've only add a digital/mp3 version to compare so far) but...
    - a few tracks (mostly B2 & D3) have annoying defects. I can hear loud cracks, typical of non-fills.

So, not a perfect pressing but if you can get for 20€ or so, i guess it's OK.

This is great, one of my all time favortie electronic albums. But comparing with 1992 ones and 2006 reissue, should I get an old one?

Excellent pressing. Restitution is perfect, the records are a bit noisy but nothing crazy. Really good release.

The pressing itself is fine, I think people often forget that original material ain't perfect and is distorted anyway, you have to keep that in mind. Inner sleeves are paper only. Overall it's nice, a classic album, sounds good.

I've had 2 copies of this record and both have what sounds like non-fill at the beginning of We Are The Music Makers. Anyone else have this problem?

At the same price, which release is better in sound? This one or 2018?

Lovely pressing. Got it for 15 euros through Amazon and boy was it a good purchase. Surprised by the vinyl thickness, flatness and overall sound quality, much like the other have mentioned.

Timeless music that never gets old. "Tha" alone is worth the price of admission. If you've never heard of this, you're definitely missing out, and it will defy your understanding of Ambient music as such, just like it did back in the day.

Grab a copy while you can.

Agree with most of the reviews, the records are banging and the sound quality is fantastic! Flat vinyl and zero background noise, sound is heavy and clean, very satisfied with this purchase!

excellent pressing!!! picked this up today and spun it, and WOW am i amazed. super wide soundstage and very punchy in the bass department. everything is very clear and audible. i did have some pops and clicks here and there but i'm sure i can work those out. even then, more than worth the money i paid for this. GET IT

Listening right now, echoing what others have said, perfect sounding pressing. Glad they got this one right!
