- absolutely beautiful copy. Plays amazingly, barley any surface noise at all and base is 100% there!!
- Bang for buck get a new pressing of this one and you wont be disappointed. Yes the 88 pressings columbia house specialty allied in that order are better for serious audiophiles but this one sounds excellent. Any complaints are overblown. This is loud clear heavy well done. Walmart has been killing it for the most part especially the metallica presses and stone temple pilots are stand outs
- Soo I finally did a comparison between this and the OG and I do not like this sound at all. Don't get me wrong. It isn't a horrible pressing, it just Lacks the dynamics that the og had. The og sounded sounded so open and full.
- Just picked this one up. As with other Walmart purchases, I expected the albums to be dusty. Before playing, I brushed and cleaned them really well. Oddly enough, they weren't dirty at all. Minimal dust from the factory. They play and sound great! Maybe Metallica will re-record the music someday and add bass. We can only hope :)
- Pressing has plenty of bass for me. Could be LOMC running thru high end gear, but its shaking the old rib cage. Phenomenal press all the way through.
- I own the 1988 USA original first pressing of this on elektra and this Walmart green press is a little quieter but the dynamics and punch is all there just turn up volume! This is the second best USA pressing behind the original 1st press in my opinion. The mofi Warner remasters and the first blackened remasters suck compared to this 1 here. I own all so im saying this from experience. You cannot beat this pressing for the money and or sound quality!!!!!!!!!
