So many memories attached to this tune! Definitely a classic jungle tune.

Asend & Ultravibe's "What Kind Of World" is an anthem in it's own right with a perfect blend of soaring pads, bubbling bass, tearing amens and evocative reggae vocal snippets.

However for me the real gem on this release was it's extremely underrated AA-Side, "The Promise" which fuses melancholic synth notes with a unique, shuffling break pattern further textured by in infectious bassline and mournful female vocals.

"The Promise" is a haunting piece of vintage jungle which was sadly overshadowed by it's more we'll known counterpart. Be sure to give it a rinse next time you're delving into the Back 2 Basics back catalogue.

Such a big tune from 94 Instanly transported back to the Innersense dancefloor each and everytime I hear it! A favourite on the label for sure..
