I can't understand why so many people are tripping about a record coming "dirty"... It's a record, when you get a new record you should ALWAYS clean it. That's just the way it is. A dirty record isn't defective, and should it really be something to complain about? All the new records you buy that don't appear "dirty" are also unclean and should be washed.
There's a lot of fair complains- "off-center", "warp", etc. But it's a $20-$25 record, it's not going to be sparkling clean out of the package.

Got my copy about a week-or-so ago now, and I'm impressed! The comments on here had me really scared leading up to it, but my copy is perfectly centered and has very low surface noise! Some of the more static-y tracks don't sound as great as others, but that's just the nature of this album's production.

The record comes in a rather cheap, flimsy card sleeve with no gatefold and cheap paper innersleeves, but they put all the money into the records it seems, and that's all that matters I suppose. The discs are some of the thickest, most solid in my collection and the dynamic range is fantastic. Bass is punchy and the trebble really shimmers on tracks like Sickfit and Curls. Very full-bodied sound here. Very pleasantly surprised. If you want this album on vinyl for cheap, rest assured that Stones Throw did DOOM right with this one!

I think i got lucky, mine came completely clean and crisp, sound quality is nice and punchy with bass without getting boomy, high end is fairly detailed as far as i can tell, not warped or anything of the sort

I'm so bummed writing this. This was an album I've wanted for some time and after DOOMs passing I thought I should wait for a repress due to current prices. I finally got my copy and the album is incredibly off center and needed cleaned right out of the package. I'd have happily paid more for the record if it meant I was going to get a proper copy. My other DOOM and Madlib albums have been great. Stone's Throw should know who to go to by now.

Mine came also off center, dirty as hell. One good wet clean and it was sounding pretty dynamic. Loved side A. Flip to side B and… yep, complete misspress it’s some nu metal emo band.

Bit of warp and the edges are very rough. Sounds pretty OK but it’s not on par with the rest of my collection.

I can only echo the other comments here. Fantastic sounding but fairly dirty pressing.

How are shitty paper sleeves still a thing? Poly lined should surely be standard by now. All four sides were covered in debris upon opening but thankfully it was easily brushed off. There’s quite a few inaudible scuffs on mine too.

The pressing itself sounds amazing. I was so tempted to cancel my order a few months back but thankfully I didn’t!

“Living off borrowed time, the click ticks faster / That’ll be the hour they knock the slick blaster”

Long live DOOM!

I'm not as enthusiastic as some of the previous reviewers. My copy is off center, warped, and dirty, bad enough that I wondered if I somehow got sent a leftover Rainbo pressing by mistake. The latest MM.. Food pressing is also pressed by GZ, but looks and sounds perfect. Go figure.

This repressing; although it’s the same cut as the rainbow pressing from a few years ago; sounds much better, with less surface noise, less general distortion, and less sibilance. This is probably all just due to the switch to GZ.

Really shows you how important the pressing plant is beyond just a noisy piece of wax. I had been leaning towards picking up the UK press for a year or two now, but Im very content with this one for now! Recommended.

Pretty good considering it's pressed at GZ. Slight scuffs from the paper sleeves, that which also left a ton of dust on all 4 sides. Other than a few sparse crackles they play fine and have no warping or centering issues.
