Reviews
- my favorite album in my collection, and of all time. it's got such a unique production, and complex storytelling. MF DOOM and Madlib really set the tone for hip hop for the next few generations.
Rest in Peace MF DOOM. - So weird to have the majority of the album consist of sub 2 min tracks. This dude is too strange even for me.
- Edited one year agoVinyl is notably heavy, the edge is almost square-cut. The sound is great, not much to add, there was nothing that really blew my shoes off compared to other media of this record besides the fullness of the bass tones and the silence of record which was good. I was hoping for a little more pop in the vocals and some brightness, the record seems to add a lot of warmth instead - not the record's fault. Like some others have said, there's a lot of empty wax on the records - I wonder if it could have been organized differently or at a different speed to make use of all the wax. You're going to be surprised at how quickly you have to flip them.
- Nothing more to add other than it sounds great and the records are nice and heavyweight excellent sound perfect vinyl
- sounds great. bass is cranked to infinity which makes me worried what my neighbours think but besides that there's no sibilance (like with doomsday)
- My copy sounds perfect. Literally no surface noise at all. I just don’t understand all of the dead space?? If you added all of the dead wax up, you’d have a blank side D for sure. Anyways, great album. Glad to have it.
- Cant see why people say this record sounds awfull. Mine sounds amazing in my opinion! Love the record. This is a must have in your Hip-Hop vinyl collection!
Update: This gotta be Audiophile. One of my best sounding records! No sibilance at all
