Show All 38 Reviews- So much surface noise that I wasn’t able to get off with a thorough wet wash or anti-static brush. Not really an issue cause it kinda fits with the vibe.
- Edited one month agoAfter reading the reviews on this record I was prepared for the worst. To my surprise though my copy came practically flawless. No warping, not off-centre and the spindle holes were adequate (record A/B’s spindle hole was slightly small, still fit well.) The comments about the paper debris are 100% correct, the inner sleeves are very low quality and it shows. It’s a great sounding vinyl overall, if you can find a good copy I’d definitely recommend it.
- Edited one month agoVery clean pressing overall, sounds loud and rich, and sibilance sounds crisp on my end. The quality control, at least on my copy, isn't even nearly as bad as other people are saying. There were a few tiny paper-pieces on the records which were easy to remove with an anti-static brush, nothing more than that. Definitely recommended!
- Happy with this purchase and can’t imagine they can make this double LP any sound better. My vinyl records were flat, and the sound is great and perfect for vinyl with the old school rap sound. Like others said, lots of paper debris - more than I’ve seen on a vinyl before.
- Looks like I got lucky with mine. Got tons of paper debris on the discs that took some brushing to get off and some scuffing, but ultimately played fine, sounds great
- seems like other people are having lots of issues but my copy is great. minimal surface noise, and the album sounds great. only complaint has to be the lack of a lyric sheet or anything in addition to the two records, very barebones just the two discs in cheap paper sleeves. not sure if i’d recommend since others are having lots of issues, but my copy was ok and I’m enjoying it.
- Absolutely terrible. A/B LP isn't complete, both sides end early (mid last song per side) with a lot of noise throughout the entire play. C/D LP is unplayable due to the hole being way off center and the vinyl is pultruding out about a quarter of an inch (imagine jamming a soldering iron through to make the hole and all the vinyl that melted is just pushed out the other side). Making the album not sit on the platter at all when put D side down. Hoping the store I purchased it from will take it back and I will avoid this pressing. Either search out a better pressing or wait until it gets repressed somewhere else.
- Edited 4 months agoThis is the worst f*cking vinyl I've ever had the displeasure to own. I bought it brand new, I opened it, and... the records are scratched, covered in tons of little white scraps (paper?), you can see the glue or some oily residue creeping out below the label. The second disc is warped. The first record has a spindle hole that's too small, making it impossible to put on the record player. The record jacket itself is glued at an angle, making it look askew. This is really beyond belief. It looks like a debut cheap-ass pressing of a local band from a third world country. This shit should be sold at $4.99 maximum. If this is another GZ Media pressing then it's fair to say that anyone supporting/buying records from a pressing plant that has ABSOLUTELY NO QUALITY CONTROL WHATSOEVER is a part of the problem with vinyl market today.
- I own this pressing, as well as the 2006 rainbo version and I can definitively say this is the better of the two.
While the quality control can be spotty at times, this 2021 pressing does not suffer from the same distorted vocals and poor sound quality of the 2006 version. Highly recommend this pressing if you can find a solid copy.
