I’m not big fan of thick cardboard sleeves like this one’s. Surely will damage the records in the long run. Otherwise nice quality product. Mine did not include poster.

This album sounds immense in every way. First of all the pressing is spot on, as ALL vinyl should be these days. This Lydian heavy album drenched in generous amounts of reverb lends itself well to vinyl. Just when you think a track sounds as good as it can get, it moves up another notch and takes you to an even better place. (Even though I’m just sitting on my couch, not having consumed any mushrooms) Some of these songs contain up to 100 tracks, which would explain the full, lush expansive sound.
You can really hear the Labi Siffre influence on this album, especially on the vocals and production.
There are some guest vocals on this album, including a count in by none other than Mr Brian Wilson! The listening experience is heightened knowing the story behind the album title. Robin Pecknold is a nice bloke who clearly appreciates his fans, even taking the time to teach youtubers how to play his songs! I loved the first three albums, but for me, Shore is slowly turning into my favourite album period, having only listened to it 5 times as I write this. Pecknold is a truly superb songwriter, with his clever use of alternative guitar tunings, unusual chords and an ear for beautiful melodies. He has a gift that seems to make most other artists seem pedestrian in comparison.
A wondrous album that without doubt should be in your collection 🖤

Once again: a perfect pressing from Fleet Foxes. It sounds as clear and crisp as „Helplessness Blues“ or „Crack-Up“.
No pops, no distortion, dead quiet, good dynamics. Nice artwork as well - incl. missprint Labels on side B and C. A real original pressing collectors item!

The music is beautiful. However it feels a little more like a Pecknold solo project. (I think he tries to somehow fit it into a Foxes-LP discography concept).

The only thing i did not like was the way it was released. The streaming release four month earlier, somehow weakened the feeling of holding the record in your hands for the first time and the enjoyment of the first spin.
But its of course a minor thing.

Great LP - like every Fleet Foxes release. They truly are one of the best bands of our time. Pecknold is a superb songwriter.

A wonderful album that grows with every listen. Nice pressing and well packaged. My black vinyl copy came with a signed CD and has misprinted track listings on sides B and C. My blue swirl version also has misprints.
