What a great compilation. Mellow and soulful, it has a fantastic ‘Sunday afternoon’ vibe. I do not know the rest of the series (and took a punt as I was after a copy of ‘After The Laughter’ to mix with my 12” of Wu Tang’s Tearz!) but this is far more than a ‘beats and breaks’ comp - it works brilliantly as an LP listen, front to back. Chilled, funky and atmospheric.- Wendy Rene track is After Laughter, not as listed.
