- For a 50 year old copy that was likely abused by some OG Eugene, Oregon stoners, mine's in great shape. This is the sound of astro-hippies leaving a decimated planet Earth behind. Or Fun House era Stooges with electronic boops n beeps if they drafted Lemmy on bass after Dave Alexander melted down.
- Edited 10 months agoI remember buying this when it was released.Actually met someone that had a stereo setup in his Mom's basement. On Acid I actually did NOT enjoy this release.( in 1973 I was 17/18).Bought a super clean USA copy today for $25....50 years later...sounded good....not their best( well it IS a live release..hard to match The Allman Brother's Live at the Fillmore)....my favorite is the 2ND LP " IN SEARCH OF SPACE"
- An all-out monumental audio assault of stoner-space-prog rock, heavy metal, hippy ideals & probably too much acid. Its loud, chaotic, pretentious & gloriously amazing (and that’s just the cover)! The music goes beyond.
THE space rock opus magnum. - Anyone else have this version of Space Ritual with side 1&4
that has side 1 label on both sides of the 1&4 record?
