Surprised at the relatively low score for this excellent slice of dubbed out breakbeat hardcore. Guess it might be slightly leftfield for some people's tastes, but if you dig the more laid back proto-jungle vibe of tunes such as A Guy Called Gerald - 28 Gun Bad Boy and S.L.M. - Now I'm Finished (The Bells) / Nice 'n' Slow then I would highly recommend grabbing a bargain here whilst you can.

As with most Sappho Jungle they were well ahead of their time. The Darkman track used to get kaned on Don FM almost a year after it originally came out!

Darkman's track is very much of the 92 jungle techno variety, using some excellent dub fx and samples. Very nice track which could be effective amongst a varied, dare I say 'eclectic' DJ set, although probably most at home being played late on at a dark, dingy carnival after party.
