- I'd just like to correct what is written above about this great lp, I have the original Promo copy my radio station received back in 1968 and Stephen Stills, as Steve Stills, is listed on the back cover along with James Burton and John Sebastian and Jim Gordon as well as Cyrus Faryar and Harvey Brooks as the musicians. Unless this promo copy is different than the one sold in stores at the time, they all were credited, just like on her next LP "Make Your Own Kind of Music," which in this "Old DJ's" opinion, was even Better, and all the musicians are listed on that one also. Mama Cass, as a great singer, really appreciated all the talented musicians she was able to sing along with. Bob Charles
- i have the complete Mamas & Papas CD's and more recently got Dream A Little Dream Of Me from a Japanese distributor, not cheap. This record was considered too quirky by a lot of critics, but i love it. There was some controversy because the title track is a M&P /Lou Adler production, permission was not sought to include it; and there was the threat of lawsuit which never materialized. The CD comes with 2 bonus tracks, Joni Mitchell's Sisotobell Lane (done at a fast tempo because it's got a lot of verses, and not very good) and another cover i can't remember that has an unintentionally funny line with the word "dawdle." i like every song on the original release, including Burn Your Hatred (Out on Someone Else) by Graham Nash (that i've wondered if is about Joni; who always seemed to be in tempestuous & numerous relationships, notably with Jackson Browne).
- I have a release of this record, but made in Italy with cat.nr. SQSL 121, mentioning DS 50040 on the Stateside label.
