This is serious dance music. It's ominous, dark, and unrelenting. The end is a magnificent 1-2-3 punch with Ben Klock's "Sub Zero", Discogs' "Real Love EQ", and Paul Ritch's "Evil Laff". One of the hardest techno peaks I've seen on a mix CD.

Rather than compile twenty tracks with short play times, Konrad Black lets each track play out almost to its entirety - a simple, but effective approach. Konrad Black excels at the only essential component of a good mix - track selection. If you're a fan of darker minimal, a la Andre Galluzi's Berghain 01, this will be a great addition to your collection. Truly one of the best techno mixes I have ever heard, and the best in the Watergate series.
