Between 1969 and 1971 Led Zeppelin recordings made for the BBC. On the double-cd BBC Sessions are available 24 songs from these sessions that were selected and remastered by guitarist Jimmy Page. The energetic and inspired game, the often good sound quality and the presence of a large number of Zeppelin classics make this album a valuable historical document. Several songs: Dazed And Confused, Traveling Riverside Blues, Whole Lotta Love, Immigrant Song, Heartbreaker and of course Stairway To Heaven, with a leading role for drummer John Bonham

Buenísimas canciones que merece la pena tener e imprescindibles para un fan.
Sin embargo, debes observar que la remasterización está MUY MAL hecha porque la dinámica del sonido es, en casi todos los temas, muy muy baja (entre -4db y -2db).
Por lo tanto, todo suena muy compacto y cercano pero no se perciben las diferencias de tonos y sonidos dentro del mismo tema.
Un ejemplo lo tienes en "What Is And What Should Never Be", aqui todo suena a un volumen similar. Sin embargo si escuchas la canción del album Led Zeppelin II verás que es totalmente distinta.
Yo opino que si quieres tener un volumen mas es mejor subir el volumen que comprimirlo.

I had a hard time finding info on the blue and green LPs so maybe this will help someone else down the road. I purchased a set, disc three is blue and the others green. That might bother someone with more OCD than me, but I don't hear color so it doesn't bug me. All numbered out of 150. I've not heard any of the official releases other than the CD. All four records have slight surface noise, they have not been cleaned yet. The music level plays above this noise, even in the quietest of passages. The LPs were VERY static-y pulling them out of the sleeves, I'm confident that slight noise can be eliminated after running them through my VPI. I'm incredibly happy with the set, they are spacious and have a nice wide soundstage with clear sound. At times the high end gets a bit fuzzy which I attribute to the recording technology of the time being overwhelmed. I'd love to have an real deal box set, but since these can be had for about 1/2 the price of the official box I'm happy with them. I just don't think the 50% higher cost will get you 50% better sound, maybe I'm wrong, but I'm also on a budget.

This is something that only diehard Zeppelin fans will appreciate. Its often a 3CD thing but I got it on 2CDs-the second one is an unaired BBC session & the first CD is an aired session-in various parts of 1969.The second CD has kind of a rougher than usual version of Dazed and Confused that sounds like things got a bit out of control somewhere in the middle-hence it wasn't aired way back when-probably-on disc two theres also a version of Whole Lotta Love that definitely needed work-Jimmy Page isn't even playing a fuzz guitar on it-maybe some fans will like it-I think just as many probably won't. Fair listening throughout for the most part-errors in the songs are a bit too frequent for me personally. I guess it sounds like that when you're working out the kinks in a song.

For the love of chocolate and peanut butter would somebody please do an on-label reissue/remaster en mass of this LP set!!! Mr. Page this set needs your 2014 magic as well!!!
