Edited 4 years agoI don't usually review music on discogs as I'm more interested in the medium. This record however... is difficult to listen to. The liner notes are difficult to read. 'Last Words' is a difficult song to hear. Difficult because I feel like I'm too close to something this personal. This is the only Steve Earle record in my collection, so far. You can hear JTE's cadence in Steve's voice when he sings. I'll probably reach for the originals but this is a beautiful connection in song from father to son.
