Tranceartig fängt es in „Right here, right now“ an, dann folgen aber schon luftige Beats, die zum Bewegen anregen.

This used to be my favourite album back when it came out, but I recently realized I hadn't listened to it in ages. So, I decided to put it on...

Oh my, talk about albums that haven't aged well!
The whole album seems very much tied to its time, there really is no timeless quality to this. Most tracks (The Rockafeller Skank being a prime example) are gimmicky up to the point of being downright annoying and the sounds/samples are pretty crude (and not in a good way!).
Of course the album has its high points - Right Here, Right Now, Praise You and Acid 8000 are all fantastic tracks but the rest are severely lacking in comparison. I suppose the biggest disappointment is that the album sounds so different to what I remembered. A golden memory crushed.

This is a very good release for those of you who enjoy good housey stuff that'll make your toes tap. He goes sample crazy on a lot of the songs, but that seems to be his style. The over-usage of samples might get slightly tiresome, but the album has a lot of memorable points on it. 'The Rockafeller Skank' and 'Praise You' (the album's two singles) are both defiantely very good tracks, although the former goes on a bit too long. A good solid 7/10.
