I confirm that this album has been remastered and was ready to be reissued on cd by Universal Japan 3 or 4 years ago in company of « Le temps fou » by Marion Brown and « African cookbook » by Randy Weston’s African Rhythm. There was also « Caryobin » by the Spontaneous Music Ensemble. Only this last one have finally been published, the three others have been canceled. At the time I was in touch with a Japanese guy who was working in a record store in Tokyo, what he told me to explain the cancelation of those titles is the fact that in Japan universal considered that the pre-orders of those titles were not big enough to publish them. Until this time any others projects of reissue have been planned for those three titles.

A rare gem that received no publicity at the time. Colbeck was unknown on the British scene and, apart from a couple of Noah Howard sessions, in New York. He was not around when it was released and the record seems to have been remaindered almost on release. Mike Osborne and J.F. Jenny-Clark were high profile players in Britain and in Europe at the time and Selwyn Lissack had emerged from the South African scene and was moving towards a visual arts career in New York.
The album has been apparently been remastered for cd release but this has been blocked for some reason.
