- I was in high school when this came out and Genius of Love was considered such an edgy , experimental track. We used to spend hours playing that song backwards looking for Satanic messages. Ah those were the days.
- Edited 3 months agoTalking Heads were a huge group with a fanatical fan base...The core of the group were art students in the New England area...plus they were in just about the best concert movie ever made, "Stop Making Sense"...After the group's success the husband and wife team of Tina Weymouth and Chris Frantz formed a fun splinter group that hit the road now and again and performed at clubs like New York's CBGB...Tina played bass and hubby Chris was on the skins plus her two sisters were on this LP that was recorded in the Bahamas where they resided for a bit...Tom Tom Club had several minor hits over the years and made some great rock music...
- The lyrics 'a ram sam sam a ram sam sam gulli gulli gulli gulli gulli ram sam sam' in Wordy Rappinghood are from a Moroccan childrens song.
