Reviews
- The sleeve has a typo - says "Iconic Portraits Mutilated During the Spanish Civil War" is side B but its A4
- Really beautiful pieces on show here with a great sensitivity. Whilst only coming across this lovely record now, the sounds present here are intensely apt in mood considering the unique time they were released. This only serves to amplify the emotional weight of the tracks here. Another reviewer compares this to Harold Budd and I can definitely hear that musical vein running though 'Conflict' too.
- Beautiful album but agree with other comments — wonky pressing. Mine has a dimple/bubble on A4 which is audible. a bummer for an otherwise lovely record.
- So beautiful it's like the soulmate to Harold Budd's greatest works. Can't think of a better way to put it. Godly.
- Edited 3 years agoWhenever I stick this essential record on, it’s as if the fantastic Mr. Kirby himself swings by my yard and gives a heartfelt live performance.
Engrossing stuff that has a very earnest and pure feel to it. I love it more and more with each listen. - There seems to be an error with the track listing as my copy has 4 tracks on each side. Side B begins with "Who Will Replace Brandon Lee".
