Show All 14 Reviews- Edited 2 months agoa very strange edition... it says 2015 on the envelope and vinyl, but two stickers tell me that it's 2020... on the Planet Caravan track from the beginning, a loud hiss turns on in the right channel, which at the end of the song seems to have been turned off... overall, the sound is great, but this strange hissing ruined the whole picture... PS - this noise starts already from the second track, but you can't hear it against the background of the music.
- There's not much to be learned from reading reviews of these Sabbath vinyl reissues- some call them trash, some think they're excellent lol.
- Paranoid is an all time great record. There are better re issues than this one. I have the 2016 Warner/Rhino edition that sounds better. There is not really anything wrong with this one. If I didn’t have the 2016 edition I would think this edition is just fine. Enjoy Black Sabbath- they are great!!!!
- Me sorprendió lo bueno del sonido. No he escuchado en mi actual sistema una edición de época, pero esta hace que no desee nada más.
- fantastic, I was able to compare with the first French press and this repress sounds much better in every way. don't go ruining yourself for less!
- how i can recognize the 2019 version from the 2015 version? i don't remember if i had thrown away the stickers so i can't remember if it is this 50th year anniversary version. Without looking at the stickers how can i tell which version i have?
- Edited one year agoExcellent pressing. Every instrument cuts through, the drums hit hard and are punchy as hell, the guitars are in your face, the bass is huge without being muddy. Unreal how good this sounds! Paranoid is on a level I have never heard before; feels like hearing for the first time. Creamy top end without any harshness, spacious sound stage, warm and tight bottom. Killer. I always clean new and old records before playing for the first time and have zero issues with my copy. Dead silent between tracks with a jet black background. I can't imagine a better sounding copy aside from a 45 rpm press. Stylus: AT540ml.
- Fantastic sound, Clear vocals and instrumentals. No pops. Waited a long time for this one at a local record store!
- New record with scratched on both sides and clicks, clicks and... clicks, something wrong with the manufacturing process. Pity because quality of sound not bad at all. Finally binned it, could not have returned to seller and could not have listen to clicks, clicks and...clicks. Do not recommend!
