Found my NM (except for one scratch) first pressing in a thrift shop last week for 3$. Yes, three dollars. I had never heard of this before but was attracted to the cover design. I went home and had $$$ in my eyes after looking it up on discogs. Then i put on my record player to see if the scratch was audible. It is not! I was surprised by the fantastic sound quality of this record and the very original and creative music. Then out of nowhere Smoke Rings comes lingering around the corner and BOOM. It just takes off through the roof. What a song. This record is a keeper. If i had the money i would actually consider spending the crazy money on one, if i hadn't found my for this ridiculous price.

Despite the loss of pete brown (Fired of his own band), the inspiration of chris spedding is strong enough to get a really good album in the total 70’s spirit. Psych/prog really trippy with really good moments and a really strange cover art. We can notice that « sunshades » is an instant hit that can figure in a Tarantino movie without difficulties and the title « crossroads... » was sampled by some hip hop producers cause the open drumbreak suite is just insane and really groovy.

OK, so IMO this LP tails off a bit but still, its a belter. Very happy to have found an affordable first issue some years ago now. Staggered and Crosswords are my picks!
