Reviews
- Edited 3 years agothis double CD is sublime there's just something about this guy and his talent to produce music like this sooo goood....lush rhythms that just flow
- It's been years I find myself coming back to this record every once in a while. I never get tired of it, and yes we need a vinyl pressing of this one
- Is the year behind each track the date of production? then shoot me.. Ron Trent was way ahead than anybody in that case.
- If you want to illustrate to someone who isn't familiar with it what DEEP house is ( but don't want to go digging out your Fingers Inc or Marshall Jeffrson records) just play them this. Hooked in particular is sublime. Ron is also an incredible DJ - do yourself a favour and check him out.
- The same track. But name track différent??
A1 Hooked On Your Love (1984)
B1 Welcome (1982)

and here ???
1-1 Welcome "1984"
1-2 Hooked On Your Love "1982" - One word describes this album Classic, I am totally biased of course as I truly think that Ron is a genius. He has literally never released a bad track....Ever. He is house royalty of the highest order next to Larry Heard and Glenn Underground they are the Holy Trinity of house. So what can I say about the album itself, it's a collection of the finest and deepest house you will find on mother earth....Every track is a masterful lesson in the art of deep. Ron's music has a profound effect on me, it speaks to my soul directly. I won't go into individual tracks, it's pointless they are all classics. This, underground soldiers is what the word sublime was created for. You must own this, your will be elevated as with all true soul music.
Thank you Ron Trent, from deep in my heart. Peace.
