In retrospect, even as a collector of Juan's music, going back after all this time makes me realize just how absurdly great these production are.

Higher is up there with Juan's best moments for me, it's just so much like him. No one else can replicate this sound.

I honestly admit that I even have noticed today what a wonderful release this one is, really, although I own the record since a long time. Such releases like that one are more relevant nowadays than when they came out. Particularly the melodic "Raintrops" track is perfect made music, Juan is playing with this crystal-clear sounds in it, reminding you to waterdrop games. And also both "Higher" versions on the EP are quality detroit techno (including female vocal samples) as we know from early Metroplex tunes... DJ's should play it only more often... that's it.
