I guess this one varies a lot, but this is probably the best sounding record in my collection. It's completely silent, even in the dead wax. Sounds super open. The only thing I noticed is that the strings on From the Air are a little quiet, but I think that's just the remastering.

Guess I was lucky—fantastic pressing, very clean, great mastering with wide dynamic range.

One of the worst pressings I’ve had the misfortune to buy. Rumble throughout and plenty of cracking and popping. Repeated cleaning had done nothing so clearly I got a dud. Such a shame as I was really looking forward to this.

Absolutely stellar pressing....O Superman is an aural treat. My copy is flat and sounds good to my ears.

The mastering on this release is hotter and louder than the original pressing I have; the drums at the beginning of From The Air nearly gave me a headache. It's a shame they used the 'remaster' from the 2007 CD instead of doing a better, more natural sounding remaster.

This must be a mixed bag, because my copy sounds incredible after a quick on-deck clean. Pro-Ject RPM 1.3 Genie -> AT-VM95ML -> Marantz 2230

Terribly noisy pressing - hash sound in right channel on both sides. Will be returning.

The pressing sounds good on my system...flat and quiet. I was lucky enough to see an ad for the release on Instagram a couple of months ago and get my preorder from Nonsuch in early enough to get an autographed print of the cover art.

BEWARE! I received a sealed copy, only to open it to discover that a different record had been inserted into the sleeve:
                    https://www.discogs.com/Hammer-I-Wanna-Be-Like-You-EP/release/18293560
If you leave yours sealed, it might NOT actually have the Laurie Anderson record inside!

Side one sounds all good, but O Superman on side 2 has lots of high end distortion on the louder vocal moments. Anyone else with this problem? The packaging and red vinyl are all nice though.
