Side-B definitely THE Track of the Series. Gives me Goosbumps every time. Uff...! This intro is so delightful. If it fits, a perfect opener.

        Yes yes yes, side A!
So simple and repetitive, more like SND / Sensate Focus than Basic Channel.

The A-side on this is my pick of the series. It somehow avoids the whole Basic Channel thing people claim that Wax should be by not actually being much of a dub workout, instead focussing on in-your-face fluttering hi-hats set behind a totally irresistible synth riff. Yeah, it's simple, but this is one of the ones that works, and works really really well. Damn hypnotic. I would have liked to hear it washed in some reverb though. The B-side DOES sound like a Basic Channel workout, employing some piano, dub pads, and a scraping shuffled drum pattern. Not so memorable, but not bad.
