Maybe I'm the only one here, but I had to return this edition twice due to different manufacturing defects: a lot of noise and instability on side 5, irreaparable even using the stabilizer. A huge mark on side three that made a terrible sound like a knife cutting paper... In fact, I'm tired of classical music on vinyl, and I'm not talking about the obvious characteristics of the format like static or anything like that.
Does anyone know when these were recorded? Are these the 90’s or 50’s recordings? I can’t tell from the liner notes- This is an exquisite recording. The sound quality is superb and the interpretation is heartbreaking and moving and inspiring and all of the things
- The music is exquisite. The recording is superb. The sound quality is similar to Yo Yo Ma’s latest version of the same music. I cannot comment on the interpretation of the music This is subjective so it is hard to rate this. The pressing is also good with quiet vinyl. An audiophile quality release.
