Reviews
- As confirmed by Bottin on his website, the marketing for this "repress of a rare Italo-Disco record from 1984" was a hoax perpetrated by the label, the musician (Bottin), and a filmmaker (Todd Verow) who commissioned the work. The hoax involved creating a fake 12" release on Discogs (deleted once the hoax was revealed), a retro styled video on YouTube (describing the song as "a big hit in Europe but not in America"), and responding to skeptical comments with insistences to the contrary.
It's quite an endearing tune nonetheless, deliberately a little amateurish, with ridiculous lyrics delivered in total earnesty. It's a pity the tracks on this record haven't been properly reissued digitally.
