I recently picked this up at a thrift store. Should have been called "24 Original Happening Hits Sampler" as many of the songs are "chops". It does have a nice variety of oldies and the LP sounds good but I thought I was getting all of the songs. Glad I only paid the thrift price for it. I do like the "groovy" cover. This was probably a budget release I would think.

I just picked up a copy today at the salvation army for a buck and of course no issues until the very last song which skips. I guess thats what I get though for buying a 1 dollar record. Either way it's a nice mix of 60s and a few 50s tunes.

Totally worth the $2 this will cost for an incredibly random mix of good 60's stuff.

I owned this when I was much much younger. It was the first album I ever bought. Now that I'm much much older, it will give me great pleasure to relive the joy I felt hearing it for the first time over 50 years ago. It's a great compilation of popular music in 1967.

This album contains edited (shortened) versions of several of the songs.

Yea! This is the one with the cover I remember! I have this LP and am holding on to it. Since I no longer have a record player, I made a CD so don't have to worry about wearing anything out.
