“Death For Never", by Rio de Janeiro-based Pedro Singery, is the singer/producer’s debut, and confuso editions’ (NYC / Rio de Janeiro) second release. 20 minutes of mischief, the record oscillates between rock and rolling whim and tender hooks of vampire ballads. Video game soundtracks, the Ramones, and (young) Lobão, fuel an imaginary tour of the Americas where “stars” become “stores” and Singery momentarily loses his baby in Chicago. Recorded from 2018 to 2020, the album sees a physical release limited to 100 cassettes.
