Comes in a foiled gatefold sleeve. * Autographed Limited Edition Teal & Burgundy 140g double LP “Live from the Doom Saloon - Volume III” recorded live on December 18, 2020.
The vinyl album was exclusively sold on Clutchmerch.com webstore prior to the airing of DS III. The 2xLP was offered as part of a bundle or as a standalone record. The bundle featured: a virtual ticket to the streaming event, a T-shirt and the 2xLP recording of the concert autographed by each band member. Only enough albums were pressed to accommodate pre-orders.
Worth the wait. This album is amazing. The packaging is probably the best I have in my collection with the foil design. It looks amazing. The design is awesome too, I've never seen a live album with a theme like this which I think is the Robot Lords from Tokyo. The records themselves look and sound amazing especially the teal. From what little I've seen of their live shows this is one of their best, Neil's vocals here sound amazing and the bass on this album is super loud. Clearly, a lot was put into this album from the marketing, to the design, to the show itself. All this by itself is awesome but the fact that the number of vinyl is limited to only those who purchased them and they're autographed just makes this so much better. It feels like I'm owning a piece of history from arguably one of the best bands in rock and roll. The only complaint I have is that the autographs are somewhat faint and look like they could rub off. I don't think they could since it appears to be sharpie but just in case I have it in a record sleeve. Super happy I got this album and I recommend those who have it to keep it and if you have to sell it, those who are buying should pick it up asap.
Mine arrived with a big dented corner unfortunately. The sleeve is quite thin and with the foil finish it shows every blemish. Signatures are barely noticeable. Artwork/design is very cool though. Vinyl is thin, both LPs have warped edges that don't effect the sound. Most important part is the music though right? Sounds great, better than I expected for a 'live' album. Sound is clear and punchy with nice bass. Awesome choice of tracks as well.
