Reviews
- This release contains 3 of the four most important bands in Long Beach, CA punk rock history: F-Troop, Secret Hate, and The Crewd. The fourth is Target Of Demand who does not appear on this compilation.
This is also the only release that contains recordings of the beloved Long Beach band F-Troop.
The Secret Hate tracks on this album are recordings unique to this album.
Highly recommended must-have LP for any fan of LB punk history. - Doug Moody didn't know anything about punk rock when young California punk bands started to use his cheap studio to record their music, but he realized he could make money off the nascent hardcore punk scene in California. So he enlisted Roger Roberson, bass player for the Circle Jerks, to go out and find a bunch of unknown local hardcore bands to record for a compilation LP. This album is the result, and it's an overlooked masterpiece! It's always been in my top 10 list of early US HC comp LPs! And no, did not have lyric sheet.
