Reviews
- The hype is real... this set sounds fantastic! Next best thing to being there, which sadly I did have a ticket to this very show, but I ended up moving cross country 2 months before and couldn't justify the expense of flying back to the Quad Cities on that fateful night. "If I had known then... what I know-ohh nowwww..." I also picked this up from the link on PJ's website and it shipped to the U.S. very quickly (which should be a given for the astronomical shipping cost, but you never know). LPs 3 and 4 do have very slight warps from the tight packaging, but it didn't affect the magnificent playback.
- I was lucky enough to be at this show. Thanks to this Vault release, I can re-live that night over and over. Incredible
- Gotta admit. I’m jealous of everyone that got to experience this in person. But this is a hell of a consolation prize. Best sounding vault vinyl yet? I wouldn’t argue that. What a treat it is to have this on four slabs of wax!
- Wow! First of these I've gotten and can't believe how good this sounds. Great packaging and an incredible set list.
- Can confirm, the sound on this is excellent. First vault release I've gotten on LP so I can't compare to previous shows, but this one is fantastic sounding.
- FINALLY they figured how to properly master an album on vinyl. Sounds AMAZING. Tight, punchy bass and none of the shrill thinness of previous Vault releases
- The notes are wrong, but the pics are right - Jeff Ament played guitar on this night!!! This is such an awesome gift before the No Code anniversary as well...
- Edited 3 years agoThis set is absolutely fantastic! The vinyl sounds wonderful. The recording is excellent as is the pressing. The concert set list is awesome too - a full run through of the No Code album with a number of classics (Even Flow, Jeremy, Alive), covers/snippets (Interstellar Overdrive, Eruption, Fuckin' Up), and a mix of well known and more obscure songs across their catalogue of albums. The packaging is amazing too - a "bound book" style package with folders for each record, and great pictures from the concert. This record set is an A+, in my opinion.
