this disc sounds ok, not amazing and there are some nasty pops throughout (update: sounds better after playing it a couple times, less noise and barely any pops, sounds kinda good for a picture disc). at least it looks nice but that’s not the point. also i really wish diamond stuff was on side b instead of side a, it would balance out the length distribution and the last 4 tracks flow together so well. a 26 min side is a bad idea especially on a badly pressed pic disc

Absolutely beautiful picture disc and a surprisingly amazing sound. Really good for a picture disc.

Looks beautiful, however not recommend if you want to enjoy the music.

Audible pops throughout and looping occurs.
Pretty standard that picture discs do this however straight out the sleeve this occurred.
I know others who purchased this that have said the same.

Definitely not a copy to listen to, however it is beautiful.

Surface noise throughout, especially noticable on John L break parts

The artwork on both sides looks gorgeous, also when the record is spinning. black midi won't be everyone's taste and it's not something you can just put on and relax to. It's pretty intense and needs to be played loud and listened to. The pressing is not without a little background noise and crackle, but it doesn't interfere in my opinion. Pretty good for a picture disc. Vinyl is good quality and no warps. Comes with a really cool booklet with graphic art featuring the band and the lyrics.

One of the coolest looking picture discs I've ever seen. Had to buy it even though I wasn't fussed on Black Midi. Well Im pleased I did because this album is so good. A lot going on and it's quite chaotic but it somehow works and as a result is an interesting body of work full of twists and turns. Not like anything I've ever heard before. The pressing on this picture disc isn't too bad although it won't win any awards for being the best sounding vinyl in anybody's collection. My copy is off centre slightly and you can hear it on the quiet parts throughout. This doesn't make it unlistenable though. The most annoying thing about this release is the baffling decision to put 5 tracks on side a and 3 tracks on side b when the length of tracks means it would have made more sense to put 4 tracks on each side. Diamond Stuff and Dethroned shouldn't have been separated. The choice of tracks on each side ruins the vinyl for me and I'd rather listen on another format.

Sounds pretty good despite being a picture disc. Clear sound, good balance and depth. Had maybe two instances of static from the first track but nothing that really ruined the experience. The art also looks amazing on the disc. Usually with picture discs not even the art looks good, but it’s real clear and vibrant on this disc. Probably not the way to hear the album but it’s a nice disc if you can get ahold of one.
