- Mediocre pressing. Doesn't sound horrible, but as mentioned by others, distortion is present in the low end, and impossible not to notice. I paid $15 for a sealed copy, and I'm glad I didn't spend any more than that. It's a fantastic album, but I don't believe I'll be getting any other Burning Sounds releases. The music deserves five stars, but the presentation brings it down a notch. At least my copy plays without surface noise or skips.
- Forced to notice that a lot of Burning Sounds' Reissues are really bad, on albums that are really great, it's very frustrating ! I completely avoid this label anymore
- Agreed, this pressing sounds pretty terrible (though it's a great album!). I'm not overly fussy with pressings, but this has a bunch of distortion that is not in any way subtle. It's clearly audible, not just to audio nerds but to all listeners :(
- Edited 3 years agoPretty disappointed with this red 180g reissue. To me it's flat, with lots of instrumentation getting distorted throughout. Also quite a bit of surface noise (I cleaned it too), but it didn't help matters. The cover art is nice, but it's not worth keeping.
