Pre-release copies came without a sleeve due to printing delays.
Some copies came with a small insert offering a T-shirt.
A very small number came with the labels on the wrong sides (there are around 5 copies known among Maiden collectors, see last picture for A-side label with B-side grooves).

I bought this at the Civic Theatre in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire when I went to see Iron Maiden on the Metal for Muthas Tour, 11th February 1980.- I bought my copy in 79 through the Sounds magazine, it’s been in my collection hardly played ever since.
- My copy was bought without a sleeve - however the sleeve was mailed out at a later date, in an envelop just over 7 X 3.5, therefore the sleeve has a vertical crease through it
my copy with autograph. Its original copy to legendary rec- My copy (original) comes with the insert but it is different from the one pictured as there is no message about the missing sleeves and no merry xmas, just the ep, t-shirt & badge offers.
I got my copy in the early/mid 1990's. I have confirmed that the copy is original and not counterfeit according to all 11 criteria points listed with this release on DIscogs. Everything matches. However the labels are reversed. Side 1 has matrix/runout ROK-1-B LYN 7628-IT *EG* SA and Side 2 has matrix/runout ROK-1-A *EG* SA LYN 7627-IT. Has anyone ever come across a copy with reversed labels?
