    This is a good album & can plainly hear that Yinon Ovend has made an effort not to stick to genre formulaic writing ...however Eastern Spikes is absolutely outstanding & reason enough to post comment alone.

    I think you have to take this for what it is. This is not a psytrance album per se. Sure there are psy elements in it, but I believe this is more of a general trance album. Not commercial, but energetic, melodic and euphoric. Including the last track it can be cinematic. Hell, he even took a melody from Yanni in the track Gemeni. Now Yanni will never be psychedelic, but I liked the way he strung it together. This was very different and a nice change of pace.
