- I guess this is the first one back for Koreless. Totally magnificent and reintroduces the plinky vocal arps and chops that defined Koreless' sound. There was something human about the earlier releases but this feels a lot more 'industrial', not in the genre sense but in the machine sense. The sort of sensitive emotions that we got from 808 kicks pitched all around a decade ago is replaced by a much colder, minor key sound. I really dig Koreless and I think the fact that his older tunes feel like such a nostalgia walk but are also still so unique is a testament to their skill, but that this release feels current and on edge at a time when systems are collapsing is also just so remarkable.
