Not bad, not great either. Too bright for my taste. Annoying sibilance in some tracks.

A fairly reasonable mastering job - though don’t expect miracles. SQ deteriorates as the LP move towards the inner grove on side A - no distortion, just a more muffled sound. Rhino really need get their act together and include an inner jacket with the history of the success of this album. No good championing this is the best-selling GH of all-time, and then not package it accordingly. This release could, and should be a lot more than it currently is.

Great, quiet, fidelic pressing and flat, woo hoo. 180 g nice. Was going to buy Volume 1 and 2 double vinyl, but glad I didn't. I have original Eagles,Hotel California, and The Long Run, where almost all volume 2 are from those. Also heard volume two is not as good a pressing. Sounds great.

Wow! Was really impressed with this pressing especially at this price. Great quality with a wonderful sound & separation on my system. Totally worth it even if you’re a casual fan.

My setup: Technics SL-1500C (Ortofon Blue cartridge), Pro-Ject Tube Box S2, Yamaha A-S801, Wharfedale Linton Speakers

sounds great, quiet good dynamic range. bought the box set and it came with this exact version based on matrix / runout (i.e., does not match any of the box set versions up on discogs). unfortunately the vol 2 does not come in as great of a quality.

In comparison to the TML pressing, this Chris Bellman cut is extremely great! I didn’t think the album was supposed to be a good sounding record until I heard this cut. Fantastic detail in the instruments, and high quality quiet vinyl from Optimal! Unfortunately, comes in a paper sleeve.

Great sounding pressing! Too bad this comes with a plane paper inner sleeve, this results in some noise on track 1. Other than that super quiet vinyl and great mastering!

I have this pressing but no CB in the dead wax. Not entirely sure he cut it or not. I don’t know but this record sounds okay but not great. I find it hard to believe it’s “Cut from the analog tapes”. The vinyl pressed at Optimal is extremely quiet so that’s a plus but besides that it’s just ok for me.

Wow this sounds good! Explodes out of the speakers!!! AAA cut, silent vinyl, AAA job by Bellman as usual!
