- I love these guys; local heroes here in PDX. But yeah, not their best effort and the production just isn't up to snuff
Update: The vinyl isn't the reason the album sounds like garbage. The reason is the album itself. It sounds like trash on each format I've listened to - CD and digital. I would be interested to know why the sudden and drastic drop in quality happened- Yup, sounds like garbage. Good thing i only spent ten bucks on it.
- Edited one year agoSlight noise in right channel even after cleaning but it isn't a deal breaker. Packaging is a bit odd but nothing came bent or warped, sounds the same as the digital version to me which isn't a bad thing. The mixing is a stylistic choice so if you know how this album sounds already and like it you shouldn't be disappointed.
I could've bought this for under $13 off Amazon during their Xmas sales. All these bad reviews convinced me not to.
Same with my copy. Sound is very dull and muted.
Kinda disappointed. Makes me want to buy the CD which would be a sin- Same as the majority of reviewers, my black wax copy sounds very average. It sounds like when the needle collects a heap of fluff while spinning, except this needle is wrapped in cotton wool
other than that, the music is kick ass!!
