Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever have a copy of this that sounds this good. All praise to those who did the remaster and actual pressing.

This really is the best this album has ever sounded. I'm so glad they didn't put out a big fancy gatefold and jack up the price. The more accessible such an essential pressing is, the better.

Great stuff, especially for the cheap price I was able to snag it for. Ignore the turbo-nerds whining about the artwork, it's just fine.

Fantastic pressing. Sounds a lot more “full” than the other recordings i’ve heard from this. Comes with a poly sleeve too, which is always awesome!!!

I’ve been coming back to read the complaints about the cover image weekly since this thing came out, because it’s entertaining. Y’all do realize that this image was drawn for a cassette only release and even then it was pretty grainy. You can only enlarge something like that so much without altering the original artwork. Try being happy that we got the best sounding version of these particular recordings to date, turn it up and move on.

A side sounds dead quiet, B side not so much. Constant static/crackle every few seconds.

Great pressing and a good remaster for an affordable price.

Pretty disappointing after waiting all these years to hear this on a record. The remastering is amazing except for one thing: couldn’t they have brought the vocals up a little more?? Jeez! Also, a couple of the tracks sound different than the others. They just sound a little off.. alot “lighter” than all the others, as if they only made it halfway through the full mixing process. It’s weird and inexplicable. Also, the packaging is the the barest of bare bones. No lyric sheet, no insert, nothing. Just one quote from some critic and the most basic of album credits. Sure, I didn’t drop the extra 10 bucks on the “punk note” edition when preordering direct from Bad Brains Records, but come on… after waiting for decades to give this album a full remaster & proper vinyl release, why the hell is it such a chincy presentation? Even the crappy cd I’ve held onto for decades had better packaging than this thing.

A/B'd this with an older ROIR pressing and this new remastered press sounded fuller and with a wider soundstage, which is very good considering this album always sounded awful. Pressing wise not the best though since Side B is a bit crackly but nothing terrible, for the price this is quite unbeatable.

Is anyone still waiting for their pre-order to be sent out?
