This “ROURH” (haha) pressing sounds fantastic. Probably better than a clean original, but possibly not because this was remastered, and I don’t have an original to compare the dynamic range with. I did a light cleaning to get rid of static pops, but after that it’s clear and spacious sounding. I never had this on vinyl before and then it became ridiculously hard to find so I’m glad this 2009 reissue is still around. The Smiths left on a very high note, and-this is not a popular opinion-I think it’s their best.
