My copy sounds perfectly clear and is only barely scuffed. Bummer that others are encountering issues with their copies :-/

The ENTIRE estate series has been a $hitshow in quality control so why expect anything different here?!
I got WAY LUCKY and opened a very flat and great sounding slab! Filthy and scuffed by the inner sleeve? Of course, but a quick wet clean thankfully fixed that! My friend bought the other copy in the same store and his was borderline junk as many are stating here.
The content has always been a favorite of mine so I'm super stoked!

(Edit: I think I realized my TT needs its belt replaced, so I may have to delete / severely edit this review in a day or so...) My copy was dirty AF out of the sleeve. Wet cleaning seemed to help BUT it is warped, tracks okay, but there is inexplicable bass vibrations during the title cut on A1 as well as B5. It ALSO has major pitch issues on both those tracks, which don't appear to be related to the warp (which is minor). There may be more that I missed on a quick listen but those are the really bad ones that jumped out. Did they just totally screw up this pressing or what? I guess we can forget quality control for RSD on these 'RSD First releases'.

For a mint record, my copy is surprisingly scuffed. Fortunately, it has a minimal impact on the actual playback and the sound quality is fantastic.

Mine is one of the most scuffed records I’ve ever bought. One side has a nasty gash on one of the tracks that is just heartbreaking. Has anyone else had this happen?

I was one of the lucky ones. Record was not dirty out of sleeve and no noticeable warp. If your record is dirty upon opening and you’re able to clean it, it sounds fantastic!

My copy is super clean and sounds beautiful. I really really dig this release. I recommend this to anyone who is even a small Prince fan! I am very picky with vinyl quality, so for me to say my copy is beautiful, means it really is!
