- Has anyone experienced problems playing this very CD in an ordinary CD-player? I bought one recently in perfect condition, but our CD-filer PIoneer PDF - 1009 which holds 300 CD:s just rushed right through it. Tested it in another player with the same result. I´ve Googled it, but I can´t find no answer. Back in the second hand record store it worked perfectly. Really strange and a problem if you like their music. It has never happened before, with any other CD:s.
- This was a great little discovery, I first saw them on Jools Holland, and then later I saw them on the Mercury Music Prize show, which they won. This tempted me to get the album, and what a cracking album it is. The album needs to be played loud, it will then get into your soul and blow your mind. It reminds me a lot of the Cure or even a little like the Pixies, but much more calmed down. The whole album flows very well, and there is not a dud track throughout. The main thing I love is the combination of the two lead vocals, one male one female. They both blend well together and each give each other the space to do their bit. An amazing album which I can't stop listening to, it just washes straight through you and leaves you wanting more.
Stand Out Tracks: Crystalised, Islands & Infinity - My Rating: 10/10 So Perfect!
This is the only album where I can say I love every single song.
Give it a listen and you won't regret it :)
